The Marquette - Alger Regional Educational Service Agency conference for high school teachers will be held at NMU and MSHS on Friday, October 12.
The conference is pleased to feature Meghan Ormiston as the keynote speaker. Her dynamic presentation style brings a breath of fresh air to the educational technology landscape. During her years as a classroom
teacher, Meghan taught a diversity of grade levels and served as a specialist in the area of professional development.
As a director of professional development for e-school.edu, inc., Meghan creates comprehensive plans for school districts and launches engaged learning into classrooms. Her approach to professional development is upbeat, hands-on, and always interactive.
Meghan is a charismatic speaker who is comfortable in a wide spectrum of settings -- from small group sessions to keynote speeches on institute days and at conferences.
Sessions during the day will be devoted to educational interests in the areas of music and arts, physical education, social studies, industrial technology, English language arts, foreign languages, business education, life skflls, and special education.
